And euer when they that bare the arcke of the Lorde, had gone sixe passes, he offered an oxe and a fat shepe.


And they put the arcke of God vpon a newe carte, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that dwelt at Gabaah. And Ozah & Ahio the sonnes of Abinadab draue the newe carte.


And when al the elders of Israel were come, the priestes toke vp the Arcke of the Lorde,


neyther shal the priestes and Leuites want one to offre alwaye before me burntofferinges, to kyndle the meatofferynges, and to prepare the sacryfyces.


And they departed from the mounte of the Lord .iij. dayes iourney, and the arcke of the testament of the Lorde went before them in the .iij. dayes iourney to serche out a resting place for them.


And when Aaron and his sonnes haue made an ende of coueryng the sanctuary & al the thinges of the sanctuarye, agaynst that the hoste remoue, then the sonnes of Cahath shall come in for to beare, & so let them not touche the sanctuary least they dye. And thys is the charge of the sonnes of Cahath in the tabernacle of wytnesse.


Iesus then sayde to hys disciples. If anye man will folow me, let hym forsake hym selfe, and take vp hys crosse and folowe me.


And there came a scribe and sayde vnto hym: master, I wil folowe the whither soeuer thou goest.

And Moses wrote thys lawe and deliuered it to the priestes the sonnes of Leui whyche bare the arcke of the testament of the Lorde and vnto all the elders of Israell,


So yet that there be a space betwene you and it, aboute a two thousande cubytes by measure. And come not nye vnto it, that ye maye knowe the waye by which ye must go: for ye haue not gone by it in tymes past.


Then Iosua spake vnto the priestes saying Take vp the arcke of the Testamente, and go before the people. And they toke vp the arcke of the testament, and wente before the people.


And commaunde thou the priestes that beare the arcke of the testament, saying: when ye are entered a lytle into the water of Iordan then stande styll in it.


For the priestes whiche bare the arcke stoode in the myddes of Iordan, vntyll all was fynyshed that the Lorde commaunded Iosua to saye vnto the people, accordynge to all that Moyses charged Iosua. And the people hasted & went ouer.


And Iosua the sonne of Nun, called vnto the priestes, and sayde vnto them: take vp the arcke of the appoyntement, and let seuen Priestes beare seuen trompettes of rammes hornes before the arcke of the Lorde.


These are they, whiche were not defyled wt women for they are virgins. These folowe the lamb whether so euer goeth. These were redemed from men being the fyrst frutes vnto God & to the lamb,


And the Leuites toke doune the arcke of the Lorde, & the forcer that was therebye, wherein the Iuelles of golde were, & put them on the great stone. And the men of Bethsames sacryfyced burnte sacrifyce, & offered offerynges that same daye vnto the Lorde.
