All these came togyther to the vale of Siddim, which is nowe the salt sea.


The Lorde also shall cleaue the tunges of the Egypcyans sea, and with a mighty wind shal he lift vp his hande ouer Nilus, & shall smyte hys seuen streames and make men go ouer drye shod.


The east syde shall ye measure from Haueran and Damascus, from Galead and the lande of Israell by Iordane and so forth, from the sea coast, that lyeth eastwarde: and this is the east parte.


Then sayde he vnto me: This water that floweth oute towarde the East, and runneth downe in to the playne felde, commeth in to the sea: and from the sea it runneth out, & maketh the waters whole,


And youre south quarter shalbe from the wyldernesse of Sin a longe by the coaste of Edom, so that youre south quarter shalbe from the syde of the salte sea eastward,


And the Lot of the trybe of the chyldren of Iuda in their kynredes was the wyldernesse of Zyn, that stretcheth to the coastes of Edon southward, and is the vtmost parte of the south coastes.


And it went out on the south syde of the goyng vp to Acrabim, & went a longe to Zimma, and ascended vp on the south syde of Cades Barne, and wente a longe to Hezron, and wente vp to Adar, and fette a compasse to Karca,


the water that came doune from aboue dyd stoppe and stode vpon an heape, a great waye from Adam, a cytye besyde Zarthan. And the water that wente doune vanyshed into the sea of the wyldernes called the salte sea as sone as it was deuyded: & the people went ryght ouer agaynst Ierycho.
