The southsyde is, from Thamar forth to the waters of stryfe vnto Cades, the ryuer, to the mayne sea: and that is the south parte.


Vpon the borders of Ruben from the east quarter vnto the west shall Iuda haue hys porcyon:


Then we cried vnto the Lorde and he hearde oure voyces, and sent an angell & hath fet vs oute of Egypte. And beholde, we are in Cades a city harde by the borders of thy contry


and from Hierusalem, and from Idumea, and from beyonde Iordane, & they that dwelled aboute Tyre and Sydon, a great multitude: whiche when they had hearde what thynges he dyd came vnto hym.


For ye trespaced againste me amonge the children of Israel at the waters of strife, at Cades in the wildernesse of Zin, bicause ye sanctified me not among the children of Israel.


gaue them their enheritaunce by lotte, as the Lorde commaunded by the hande of Moses, to geue vnto the nyne trybes, and vnto the halfe trybe of Manasses.


And their suthcoastes were from the brinck of the salt sea, and from a certain poynte of the sea, that leaneth southwarde.


Deuide it into seuen partes. For Iuda shall abyde by theyr coastes in the south, & the house of Ioseph shal stande to their coastes in the north.
