and they passed ouer Iordan and pytched in Aroer on the ryght syde of the cytye that lyeth in the myddes of the valeye of Gad, and so forthe to Iazer.


And they hired .xxxij. thousand charettes, & the kyng of Maacah & his people, whyche came and pytched before Midba. And the children of Ammon gathered them selues together from their cityes and went oute to battel.


And the children of Iuda that were without in the tounes of theyr lande, dwelte some at Kariath Arbe, & in the vyllages there of, and at Dibon, and in the vyllages there of:


They wente to Baith and Dibon in the hie places, for to wepe: Moab dyd mourne from Nebo to Medba. All their heades were colled, and all their beardes shauen.


And thou doughter Dibon, come doune from thy glorye, and sit in pouerte. For he that destroyeth Moab, shall come vp to the also, & breake doune thy stronge holdes.


and Dibon vpon Nabo & the house of Deblathaim,


The destroyer shall come vpon all cytyes, none shall escape. The valeys shalbe destroyed, and the feldes shall be layed waste: lyke as the Lorde hath determed.


Their lyghte is out from Hesbon vnto Dibon and we made a wyldernes euen vnto Nopha which reacheth vnto Mediba.


from Aroer vpon the brynke of the ryuer of Arnon, and the cytie in the ryuer, vnto Galaad: there was not one citye to stronge for vs. The Lorde oure God delyuered al vnto vs:


And when we had conquered thys lande the same time, I gaue from Aroer which is vpon the riuer of Arnon, & halfe mount Galad and the cities therof vnto the Rubenites, & Gadites.


And vnto Ruben & Gad I gaue from Galaad vnto the ryuer of Arnon & halfe the valley & the cost, euen vnto the ryuer Iabock which is the border of the chyldren of Ammon,


Sehon Kynge of the Amorytes, that dwelt in Hesbon, and ruled from Aroer, whyche lyeth on the brym of the ryuer of Arnon, and to the middel of the ryuer, and halfe Galaad, vnto the riuer Iabock, the border of the chyldren of Ammon:


and al the cyties of Sehon, Kinge of the Amorites, which raygned in Hesbon, euen vnto the borders of the children of Ammon,


And theyr coastes were from Aroer that lyeth on the banck of the ryuer Arnon, and the cytye that lyeth in the ryuer, & al the playne aboute Madba,


For the other halfe wyth the Rubenytes, and the Gaddites haue receyued their enheritaunce allready, whiche Moses gaue them beyonde Iordan Eastwarde, euen as Moses the seruaunt of the Lorde gaue them,
