All these came togyther to the vale of Siddim, which is nowe the salt sea.


& ouerthrewe those cites and al the region, and all that dwelled in the cytes, and that that grewe vpon the erth.


And Benhadad herkened vnto kynge Asa, and sent the captaynes of the hostes whiche he had against the cities of Israel and smote Ahian, Dan, Abel called Beth Maacah and all Cerenoth with all the lande of Nephthali.


Therfore beholde, I will make the cytyes of Moab weapenlesse, and take awaye their strength: thir cyties and chefe coastes of their lande, whiche are the pleasures of the countrey. As namelye: Bethiesimoth, Baalmeon and Cariathaim:


& from Bamoth to the valay that is in the feylde of Moab in the top of Phasgah which boweth toward Iesimon.


And the coste shall go doune from Sepham to Ribla on the east syde of Ain. And then descende and go out at the syde of the sea of Cenereth eastward.


It came to passe as the people preased vpon him to heare the worde of God, that he stode by the lake of Genezareth:

And their suthcoastes were from the brinck of the salt sea, and from a certain poynte of the sea, that leaneth southwarde.


And their easte coastes are the salt sea, euen vnto the edge of Iordan.


the water that came doune from aboue dyd stoppe and stode vpon an heape, a great waye from Adam, a cytye besyde Zarthan. And the water that wente doune vanyshed into the sea of the wyldernes called the salte sea as sone as it was deuyded: & the people went ryght ouer agaynst Ierycho.
