And Bala the sonne of Azan the sonne of Sema the sonne of Ioel, dwelt in Aroer and so forthvnto Nebo and Baalmaon.


And thou gauest them kyngedomes and nacyons, and partedst them accordynge to theyr porcyons, so that they possessed the lande of Sehon kynge of Hesebon, and the lande of Og the kynge of Basan.

And thou that dwelleste in Aroer, get the to the strete, and loke aboute the: aske them that are fled and escaped, and saye: what thinge is happened?


after that he had smytten Sehon the kynge of the Amorites which dwelt in Hesbon, and Og kinge of Basan which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrai.


And the King of the chyldren of Ammon aunswered vnto the messengers of Iephthah, because Israel toke away my land, when they came out of Egipt: euen from Arnon vnto Iabok, & from thence vnto Iordan. Now therfore restore those landes agayne wyth fayre meanes.


And they conquered al the coastes of the Amorites, from Arnon vnto Iabok, and from the wyldernesse vnto Iordan.
