11 And as they flede from Israel, euen in the goynge doune to Bethoron, the Lorde caste doune great stones from heauen vpon them vntyll they came vnto Esaka, that they dyed. And there were mo that dyed wyth hayle stones, then the chyldren of Israell slewe wyth the swerde.

Than the Lorde rayned vpon Sodome and Gomorra, brymstone and fyre from the Lord out of heauen,


And the felde was foughte in dyuerse places, al abroade vpon the earthe. And the wodes deuoured mo people that day then dyd the swerde.


Wentest thou euer into the threasuryes of the snowe, or haste thou sene the secrete places of the hayle,


whiche I haue prepared agaynst the tyme of trouble, agaynste the tyme of battell and warre?


Vpon the vngodly he shall rayne snares, fyre, brymstone, storme and tempest: thys rewarde shall they haue to drynke.


He casteth forth hys yse lyke morsels, who is able to abyde hys frost?


Beholde, the strength and power of the Lord shall breake into the lande on euerye syde, like a tempest of hayle, that beareth doune strong holdes, and lyke an horryble, myghty & ouerflowynge water.


For the Lorde shall steppe forthe as he dyd vpon the mounte Perazim, and shall take on as he dyd vpon the dale of Gabaon: that he maye bryng forthe his deuyce his straunge deuyce: and fulfyll hys worcke, hys wonderful worcke.


The Lorde also shall set vp the power of his voyce, and declare his terryble arme, wyth hys angry countenaunce yea and the flamme of the consumynge fyre, with earthquake, tempest of wynde, and haile stones.


Therfore tell them which dawbe it wyth vntempered morter, that it shal fal. For there shal come a great shower of rayne, greate stones shall fall vpon it, and a sore storme of wynde shal breake it,


For the lord thy god goeth with you to fight for you agaynst your enemyes & to saue you.


And the temple of God was opened in heauen, and there was sene in hys temple the arcke of hys testamente, and there folowed lyghtenynges, and voyces, and thonderynge and eartquake and muche hayle


And there fell a greate hayle, as it had bene talentes, out of heauen vpon the men, & the men blasphemed God, because of the plage of the haile, for it was great, & the plage of it sore?


From heauen came battell: for the sterres beynge in theyr course, fought agaynst Sisara.
