Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.


Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.


As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.


Solomon had a vineyard at Ba´al–ha´mon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
