A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.


A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.


Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.


The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.


Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.


Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.


that he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.
