And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abin´adab that was in Gib´e-ah: and Uzzah and Ahi´o, the sons of Abin´adab, drave the new cart.


Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.

And Ele-a´zar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Pu´ti-el to wife; and she bare him Phin´ehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.


O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.


At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

And David inquired at the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
