they are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gib´e-ah of Saul is fled.


Blow ye the cornet in Gib´e-ah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Beth–a´ven, after thee, O Benjamin.


They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gib´e-ah: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.


Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beer´oth,


and Zelah, Eleph, and Jeb´usi, which is Jerusalem, Gib´e-ath, and Kirjath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.


And when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto his master, Come, I pray thee, and let us turn in into this city of the Jeb´usites, and lodge in it.


And he said unto his servant, Come, and let us draw near to one of these places to lodge all night, in Gib´e-ah, or in Ramah.


And Saul also went home to Gib´e-ah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.


Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Beth–el, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gib´e-ah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.
