if iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.


The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.


For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.


O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.


my lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.


I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.


Hear the right, O Lord, attend unto my cry; give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.


The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.


Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.


but let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.


I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
