And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements; once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the Lord.


By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.


Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,


neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.


how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?


For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the showbread; which is called the sanctuary.


for then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.


But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
