Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.


Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy loving-kindness.


I have gone astray like a lost sheep: seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.


My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.


I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.


Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.


For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
