Ezekiel 35:1

The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Se´ir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?


For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idume´a, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.


Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.


Concerning Edom, thus saith the Lord of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?


And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,


Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,


Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;


And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,


And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.


Son of man, set thy face against mount Se´ir, and prophesy against it,


Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:


The vision of Obadi´ah. Thus saith the Lord God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumor from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.


For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
