Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.


in that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be a healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.


His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.


Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbor's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;


Is there no balm in Gil´e-ad? is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?


And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men.


And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring.


And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.


I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.


Thou shalt not rule over him with rigor; but shalt fear thy God.


but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.


And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.


and shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;


But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.


Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.


Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
