The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Ma´dai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.


And the sons of Javan; Eli´shah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Do´danim.


The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Ma´dai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.


And the sons of Javan; Eli´shah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Do´danim.


Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!


And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.


Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.


Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.


There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.


Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:


Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Gre´cia shall come.


And now will I show thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Gre´cia.
