And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;


and he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,


And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the Lord.


And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.


So he drove out the man: and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.


And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.


And Jacob called the name of the place Peni´el: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.


And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.


and they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.


And it came to pass after many days, that the Lord said unto me, Arise, go to Euphra´tes, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded thee to hide there.


Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,


Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.


This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim.


Then did the cherubim lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.


And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.


I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,


And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valor.


who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.


and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
