Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomor´rah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;


He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.


He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?


fire, and hail; snow, and vapor; stormy wind fulfilling his word:


The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.


The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.


The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.


And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.


And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.


Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.


So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.


And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall show the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.


And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.


And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth–ho´ron, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Aze´kah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.


And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.


And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.


The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
