In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasue´rus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar.


And Mor´decai wrote these things, and sent letters unto all the Jews that were in all the provinces of the king Ahasue´rus, both nigh and far,


And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim; and it was written in the book.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea; and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it, The valley of Ha´mon–gog.


to be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the Lord; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the Lord said to him by the hand of Moses.
