27 Now concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house of God, behold, they are written in the story of the book of the kings. And Amazi´ah his son reigned in his stead.

27 The list of Jehoash’s sons, the many prophecies against him, and the account of his restoration of God’s temple are written in the comments on the records of the kings. His son Amaziah succeeded him as king.
27 But concerning his sons, and the sum of money that had been amassed under him, and the repairing of the house of God, these things have been written more diligently in the book of kings. Then his son, Amaziah, reigned in his place.
And Jeho´ash king of Judah took all the hallowed things that Jehosh´aphat, and Jeho´ram, and Ahazi´ah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and in the king's house, and sent it to Haz´a-el king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.
For Joz´achar the son of Shim´e-ath, and Jehoz´abad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amazi´ah his son reigned in his stead.
Now the rest of the acts of Jehosh´aphat, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hana´ni, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel.
And the king and Jehoi´ada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the Lord, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the Lord.
Amazi´ah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jeho´addan of Jerusalem.
Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahi´jah the Shi´lonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jerobo´am the son of Nebat?
