And David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.


And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.


moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the Lord with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.


All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jedu´thun, and Heman.


Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehosh´aphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies.


And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.


Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.


Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.


upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.


O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
