both for the showbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;


and to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the Lord in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the Lord:


moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the Lord with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith.


And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.


And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night.


And Hezeki´ah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the Lord.


and they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
