I am like a vulture of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.


I will also make it a possession for the owls, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction, says the LORD of hosts.


That says, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cuts him out windows for it; and it is paneled with cedar, and painted with vermilion.


I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Strike the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and break them on the heads of all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that flees of them shall not flee away, and he that escapes of them shall not be delivered.


And the seacoast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.


And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of demons, and the haunt of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
