But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.


And said, O LORD God of our fathers, are not you God in heaven? and rule you not over all the kingdoms of the nations? and in your hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand you?


If I speak of strength, lo, he is strong: and if of justice, who shall set me a time to plead?


Surely the wrath of man shall praise you: the remainder of wrath shall you restrain.


Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the thing made say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing formed say of him that formed it, He had no understanding?


And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can restrain his hand, or say unto him, What do you?


The Son of man indeed goes, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.


Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:


You will say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.


Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?


But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?


Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man:


Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
