And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.


Therefore Absalom sent for Joab, to have sent him to the king; but he would not come to him: and when he sent again the second time, he would not come.


What is man, that you should magnify him? and that you should set your heart upon him?


Bless the LORD, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.


Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies;


LORD, what is man, that you take knowledge of him! or the son of man, that you make account of him!


Your throne, O God, is forever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a righteous scepter.


Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come:


For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the nature of Abraham.


You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor, and did set him over the works of your hands:


But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
