Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up your hand: forget not the humble.


Your congregation has dwelt therein: you, O God, have provided of your goodness for the poor.


Though you have slept among the sheepfolds, yet shall you be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.


He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.


For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.


O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for sweet is your voice, and your countenance is lovely.


Behold, you are fair, my love; behold, you are fair; you have doves' eyes behind your veil: your hair is like a flock of goats, going down from mount Gilead.


My dove, my perfect one, is the only one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the favorite one of her that bore her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.


Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?


I will also leave in the midst of you an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.


Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
