The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.


[To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.] The king shall joy in your strength, O LORD; and in your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!


[A Psalm of David.] The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?


Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.


But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.


Unto you, O my Strength, will I sing: for God is my defense, and the God of my mercy.


Because of your strength will I wait upon you: for God is my defense.


He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved.


He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.


Trust in the LORD forever: for in the LORD GOD is everlasting strength:


And a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a refuge from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.


It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.


There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
