The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.


Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O LORD.


I am dark, but lovely, O you daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.


I charge you, O you daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or by the hinds of the field, that you stir not up, nor awake love, till it pleases.

But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.


Who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify your name? for you only are holy: for all nations shall come and worship before you; for your judgments are made manifest.


Rejoice over her, you heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets; for God has avenged you on her.


So let all your enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when it goes forth in its might. And the land had rest forty years.
