O my soul, come not into their secret; unto their assembly, my spirit, be not united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their self-will they dug down a wall.


The Jews had light, and gladness, and joy, and honor.


As the days on which the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day: that they should make them days of feast


I will sing unto the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me.


Every day will I bless you; and I will praise your name forever and ever.


Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.


In God we boast all the day long, and praise your name forever. Selah.


Awake, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.


But I will hope continually, and will yet praise you more and more.


My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto you; and my soul, which you have redeemed.


To provide for them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.


And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.


For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.


Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen.
