And he was hid with them in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.


Why stand you afar off, O LORD? why hide you yourself in times of trouble?


You are my hiding place and my shield: I hope in your word.


Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me: you shall stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand shall save me.


Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of your wings,


He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places.


You shall hide them in the secret of your presence from the pride of man: you shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.


Blessed be the LORD: for he has showed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city.


He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.


And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

From the end of the earth will I cry unto you, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.


For you have been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.


In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.


They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted against your hidden ones.


He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.


He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.


The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe.


LORD, in trouble have they visited you, they poured out a prayer when your chastening was upon them.


Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation is past.


And a man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a refuge from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.


O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!


For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
