This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people who shall be created shall praise the LORD.


I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not restrained my lips, O LORD, you know.


That the generation to come might know them, even the children who should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:


All nations which you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord; and shall glorify your name.


Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days, and the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.


Sing, O barren, you that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you that did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, says the LORD.


Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.


For in it is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.


For he has made him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
