And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.


Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him.


Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all you gods.


And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of your mouth.


Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion; they, they are your lot: even to them have you poured a drink offering, you have offered a grain offering. Should I receive comfort in these?


But you are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.


He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he breaks a dog's neck; he that offers a grain offering, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.


The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.


And the grain offering thereof shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet aroma: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.


They that regard vain idols forsake their own mercy.


That you mix not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them:
