And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.


And the woman conceived, and bore a son at that time that Elisha had said unto her, according to the appointed time.


God sets the solitary in families: he brings out those who are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.


Sing, O barren, you that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you that did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, says the LORD.


And if the woman was not defiled, but was clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.


For it is written, Rejoice, you barren that bear not; break forth and cry, you that travail not: for the desolate has many more children than she who has a husband.


They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased to hunger: so that the barren has borne seven; and she that has many children has grown feeble.
