They speak vanity every one with his neighbor: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.


The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.


The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.


Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.


He that hates disguises it with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself;


When he speaks graciously, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.


And both these kings' hearts shall be to do evil, and they shall speak lies at the same table; but it shall not prosper: for the end shall yet be at the time appointed.


Now when the Pharisee who had bidden him saw it, he spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that touches him: for she is a sinner.


And she said unto him, How can you say, I love you, when your heart is not with me? you have mocked me these three times, and have not told me where your great strength lies.
