A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.


He becomes poor who has a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent makes rich.


The righteous chooses his friends carefully: but the way of the wicked leads them astray.


The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.


Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure with trouble.


Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without justice.


And put a knife to your throat, if you are a man given to appetite.


As the door turns upon its hinges, so does the slothful upon his bed.


The slothful hides his hand in his dish; it grieves him to bring it again to his mouth.
