For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.


If any man serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serves me, him will my Father honor.


For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his office let another take.


Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood.


Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem:


Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,


To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.


Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear: for he works the work of the Lord, as I also do.


Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:


For do I now seek the favor of men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.


For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.


There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.


Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:


Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,


Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.


But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.


Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:


Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if indeed I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.


For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.


Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but rubbish, that I may win Christ,


Paul, and Silas, and Timothy, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.


But even after we had suffered before, and were shamefully treated, as you know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much opposition.


Paul, and Silas, and Timothy, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:


When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.


Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.


Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of dishonest gain;


Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;


For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, not violent, not given to dishonest gain;


Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow laborer,


Know that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.


James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.


For you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things says the first and the last, who was dead, and is alive;


Then he said unto me, See you do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them who keep the words of this book: worship God.
