And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.


The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brass altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and grain offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.


Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.


And you shall offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and you shall cleanse the altar, when you have made an atonement for it, and you shall anoint it, to sanctify it.


And you shall anoint the laver and its base, and sanctify it.


Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their leaders according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write every man's name upon his rod.


And the leaders offered for the dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the leaders offered their offering before the altar.


This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the leaders of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:


And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the male goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.
