And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shall you kill any man in Israel. And he said, What you shall say, that will I do for you.


Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.


So you shall not pollute the land in which you are: for blood defiles the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, except by the blood of him that shed it.


Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.


I do not nullify the grace of God: for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.


But the scripture has consigned all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.


And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
