Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was angry.


The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.


Who removes the mountains, and they know not: who overturns them in his anger.


He looks on the earth, and it trembles: he touches the hills, and they smoke.


The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.


You mountains, that you skipped like rams; and you little hills, like lambs?


Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was angry.


There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.


The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.


The earth shook, the heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.


Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.


And mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.


Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad its inhabitants.


The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a hut; and its transgression shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.


Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he has stretched forth his hand against them, and has stricken them: and the hills did tremble, and their dead bodies were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.


But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to endure his indignation.


I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved to and fro.


So that the fish of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.


The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:


And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that touches the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell in it shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like the river; and shall be drowned, as by the river of Egypt.


And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be split, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.


The mountains saw you, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered its voice, and lifted up its hands on high.


Who are you, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain: and he shall bring forth its headstone with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.


For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.


And, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks were split;


And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.


And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.


And the heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.


The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
