Look at me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.


Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer you? I will lay my hand upon my mouth.


Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the nations, The LORD has done great things for them.


If you have done foolishly in lifting up yourself, or if you have thought evil, lay your hand upon your mouth.


LORD, when your hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy of the people; yea, the fire of your enemies shall devour them.


So shall he startle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.


For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.


Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.


Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer from God.


And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: which, if it passes through, both treads down, and tears in pieces, and none can deliver.


And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.


Now we know that whatsoever things the law says, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.


And the nations were angry, and your wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should give reward unto your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear your name, small and great; and should destroy them who destroy the earth.
