And in that day you shall say, O LORD, I will praise you: though you were angry with me, your anger is turned away, and you comforted me.


He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD has spoken it.


For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: you shall weep no more: he will be very gracious unto you at the sound of your cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer you.


And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.


I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.


Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her:


For all those things has my hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.


But they that escape them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.


And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that are done in its midst.


And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.


But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and you are tormented.


Blessed are you that hunger now: for you shall be filled. Blessed are you that weep now: for you shall laugh.


Woe unto you that are full! for you shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for you shall mourn and weep.


And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.


And he said to the woman, Your faith has saved you; go in peace.


Blessed is the man that endures trial: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.


And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
