Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay your vows unto the most High:


Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.


You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.


And you shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.


Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through you; he is utterly cut off.


You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

When you shall vow a vow unto the LORD your God, you shall not delay to pay it: for the LORD your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin to you.
