[Aleph] Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.


Depart from me, you evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.


Hold me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto your statutes continually.


I will run the way of your commandments, when you shall enlarge my heart.


Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come.


Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of man comes.


Then said he unto them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even unto death: tarry you here, and watch with me.


And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.


Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.


And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.


Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.


And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that you enter not into temptation.


And said unto them, Why sleep you? rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.


Those on the rock are they, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for awhile believe, and in time of temptation fall away.


For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:


There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.


Watch, stand fast in the faith, be men, be strong.


But I roughly treat my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.


And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.


Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thus with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;


But the end of all things is at hand: be therefore sober minded, and watch unto prayer.


Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:


The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:


Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.


Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
