But when the king heard thereof, he was angry: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.


Go you therefore into the highways, and as many as you shall find, bid to the marriage.


And Jesus said unto them, Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.


But they who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:


Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.


Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.


Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer:


Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
