Bath-sheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king’s mother; and she sat on his right hand.


In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give you.


Then said the king unto her, What do you wish, queen Esther? and what is your request? it shall be even given you to the half of the kingdom.


[A Psalm of David.] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.


Kings' daughters were among your honorable women: at your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.


And seek you great things for yourself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring disaster upon all flesh, says the LORD: but your life will I give unto you for a prize in all places where you go.

But Jesus answered and said, You know not what you ask. Are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They said unto him, We are able.


And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will you that I shall do unto you?


And Jesus answered and said unto him, What will you that I should do unto you? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.


So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.


And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the girl, Ask of me whatsoever you will, and I will give it to you.


Saying, What will you that I shall do unto you? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.


And as they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.


And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.


If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you.


When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?


Be tender loving one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another;


Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.


If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God.
