But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.


Saying, These last have worked but one hour, and you have made them equal unto us, who have borne the burden and heat of the day.


For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.


And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners, and eats with them.


And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.


But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?


The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.


When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Does this offend you?


But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spoke against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.


Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.


These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, holding men in admiration for the sake of advantage.
