And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while your handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.


Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man who sowed good seed in his field:


But when the plant was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.


So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? from where then has it tares?


But he said, Nay; lest while you gather up the tares, you root up also the wheat with them.


Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.


The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.


While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.


And because of false brethren brought in unawares, who came in secretly to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:


Looking diligently lest any man fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;


Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:


But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.


And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.


And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, that had the wound by a sword, and did live.


Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
