And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only; no bag, no bread, no money in their purse:


He answered and said unto them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has food, let him do likewise.


And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor bag, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.


The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring with you, and the books, but especially the parchments.


And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a pouch; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
