The stone which the builders rejected has become the head stone of the corner.


He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.


After two days will he revive us: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.


Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.


For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.


Jesus said unto them, Did you never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same has become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?


Saying, Sir, we remember that this deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.


And have you not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner:


But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.


Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?


And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.


He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.


Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.


This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.


And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:


And you have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and you have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.


And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto you: for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
